32. Senior Commercial Manager
Senior Commercial Manager is required to lead and manage the Front Office department for a major systems integrator ensuring that any interaction in terms of quotations or proposals and the processing of customer orders is accurate efficient, effective and industry leading in terms of customer experience.
Duties include: Develop and implement a strategy for Front Office, continually looking to promote, develop and implement strategic improvements to the Front Office function for the delivery of transactional, transformational or managed service quotations and proposals.
This role is responsible for the all the resources within the company that support the development and production of customer quotations and proposals and the processing of all customer orders with a value in excess of £150 million. The role is responsible for around 5 direct reports each with between 5 and 10 reports each. Candidates are required to have significant experience within the IT / Telecoms / Datacoms industry supporting sales in the development of winning proposals and propositions.
A proven track record developing strategic and tactical plans based on business needs and experience in the leadership and management of operational organisations is expected. Strong commercial awareness and the ability to lead negotiations on key opportunities is essential along with competent analytical, numerical and financial management skills.
