83. Payroll Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to join a very prestigious organisation within the Retail sector. As Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for maximising the effectiveness and efficiency of payroll by developing strong working relationships with the outsourced payroll provider and regional HR teams.

You will be responsible for providing technical knowledge and expertise on payroll to the HR team, agreeing with the HR Team their requirements to provide efficient and effective reporting to improve the effectiveness and performance of HR, deliver an accurate and legally compliant service to the complex Executive and Ex-Pat payroll and tax.

The successful candidate will have proven payroll experience with in-depth knowledge of PAYE, tax & NI as well as having strong technical knowledge of payroll and HRIS systems. You will also have advanced knowledge of Excel coupled with excellent report writing skills and experience of implementing legislative changes which is essential for this role.

Customer Liaison Manages projects with customer to establish their needs. Actions any changes to customer specific Terms and Conditions to ensure accurate payments are made. Records customer issues and complaints to instigate corrective action. Reviews regular payrolls currently in production to ensure Best Practice processes are adhered to.
