77. SQL Database Analyst


Successful software company are currently looking to identify a bright, ambitious SQL Database Analyst, with cutting edge Database analysis, design & administration skills. This opportunity would ideally suit someone with 1-3 years post university experience, where a good pass was gained in Computer Science or similar. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of SQL Server 2005 / SQL Server 2008 which they can use to help re engineer an existing in-house database & also to troubleshoot customer deployments. This is not a report writing role but one which requires adept database analysis & design skills.

Of particular interest, are candidates with commercial experience of developing complex SQL databases for modular B2B product solutions, possibly employed by a bank or other FSA regulated company. Responsibilities are to include; adding theory & skills to help existing colleagues achieve database optimisation; bring analysis skills and an ability to document, map & build data dictionaries that will allow others to understand the system & write code to fit; provide 3rd line technical support; prepare, check & finalise deliveries to customers & escrow agents.

This is a small company environment, that deals with an impressive blue chip client base, predominantly within the Financial Services industry. The successful candidate will be working alongside a senior SQL Developer and be able to demonstrate teamwork, flexibility and a personal commitment to deliver high quality software.
