90. Sponsorship Manager

Our client is a globally recognised employers members organisation. They host a series of annual conferences and events which act as an official link between members; governments and industry leaders. This culmination offers attendees the perfect platform for commercial networking and investment opportunities.

Due to a newly-formed team charged with acquiring the sponsors for the events; it is in need of a Sponsorship Manager to consult with the sponsor and assure the timely and cost-effective delivery of all aspects of the event programmes.Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the Sponsorship Manager will be responsible for assisting on the implementation and management of the sponsorship and events strategy.

Tactically, there is very little room for compromising quality and the manager will need to create an instant impact and be accountable for their part in the process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate; excellent verbal and written communication skills; commerciality; a lateral approach to problem solving; resilience; flexibility and an attitude to go the extra mile. Our client is looking for a specialist with substantial experience of managing big ticket deals; an ability to listen and an ability to take a consultative sales approach.
