30. Business Development Manager

My client is on the verge of another record breaking sales year in Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) making them the fastest growing and most successful KPO Company. They are providing the enterprise and corporate market with bespoke research solutions on a project by project or continuity basis. Due to their inimitable offering and position in the market, my client is able to deliver a unique sales offering, providing Business Research, Market Research, Investment Research, Analytics, Intellectual Property and Legal Process Services in every country and in more than 50 languages.

As the Business Development Manager, you will be prospecting your own territory by identifying and opening up new Client Accounts. For the first few months this role will be entirely focused on new business sales and then you are responsible for developing and retaining your accounts. To achieve your monthly target of £40K you will need to be utilizing a consultative sales approach maximising the sales opportunity by cross selling your portfolio of information/knowledge services.

This opportunity is for someone who can demonstrate a career of solution sales and ideally have experience of selling custom research projects working in a consultative manner with clients, helping them to define the scope of projects. You will need to have an entrepreneurial drive and be a self starter working from your home office and be driven by over achievement and money.

The successful candidate will be remunerated with a package of £40K basic, with £100K first year OTE plus pre IPO equity and benefits package, some of the top earners are taking home £600K. The right candidate will be holding a senior position and have a proven track record and consistency of over achievement. If you have a proven background selling into the financial services sector or selling Intellectual Property research services, this would be a benefit.
