31. Sales Account Manager


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bright dynamic self starter looking for a Sales Account Manager role within an award winning Investment Software Company called Updata. The product is aimed at professionals using Bloomberg in over 30 countries worldwide. Clients typically operate in energy trading markets, portfolio administration, risk management, or are private investors or home based traders. The Updata Team has decades of experience in the trading and analysis of financial markets and their software is used by some of the biggest financial institutions in the world, with more big names taking the system all the time.

The successful candidate would begin with private client support and renewals in the first few months as well as assisting colleagues with institutional sales. In the longer term the role would become more sales focused and in house training and possibly external sales training would be provided. For the right candidate, there may also be the opportunity to become qualified in the financial analysis that the company specialises.

Occasional European travel is a key benefit to this position. The Sales Team at Updata is dedicated and hard working, but the company has a relaxed and sociable ethos.
