34. Business Sales Development Manager - Information Sales

Our client is the world's highest profile Business Information and Risk Management Consultancy. They have a requirement for Business Development Managers. You will not necessarily have sold Business Information or Risk Management, but you will have a minimum of three years business-to-business sales experience and a CV that demonstrates you are a top sales performer wherever you have sold.

It is important that you love selling, the psychology of sales and the financial and personal rewards of closing the sale. Our clients' financial rewards for achievement are phenomenal with the top performers in these roles earning in excess of £125k. Your ability to sell will not just extend to your clients, much of your success will arise from your ability to network opportunities from other departments within the group. You will therefore be sociable and a team player.

The right candidate's focus will be solely on new business sales. You will have a proven track record showing your ability to effectively utilise a consultative and diagnostic sales approach, including superior listening and problem solving skills at the C-Level professional or high value sales prospects.

The rewards will not only be financial, you will work in a company where most of the sales managers and directors originated from these very roles and on average, employees stay with the company for more than 5 years.
