27. Business Development Executive
Our client is seeking an ambitious, experienced Business Development Executive to play a key role in generating new business leads for this rapidly growing US applications software company, based in Central London. The role is offered with a basic salary of £30-40K with On Target Earnings of £50K. Success in this role will lead to opportunities for promotion into a field sales role. All applicants must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of applications software lead generation. The successful candidate will undergo training in London and New York.
This is a new business role, creating and developing qualified opportunities for the field account managers.Making outbound cold calls to prospective customers at CxO and senior management level across a broad range of industries including finance, IT, telco and the utilities. Must be skilled at uncovering needs, educating prospects and connecting their business problems with the visionary software solution.
Build strong relationships with prospects to help them create a budget for the solution and agree a joint action plan. Team with the field account managers to ensure a smooth handover leading to the closure of qualified opportunities. Identify and deploy the most effective marketing collateral including white papers, webinars, demos etc to assist in the qualification process. Giving online sales presentations and marketing to prospective customers.
This role will be highly visible in the company and success will lead to promotion to a field sales role. All Business Development Executives must be new business focused and have at least one years proven track record of inside sales lead generation for applications software. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they uncovered opportunities, developed the need and engaged the prospective customers in action plans, leading to fully qualified leads.
