26. Account Manager - Information

Our client is an independent market research and technology information provider bringing innovative and forward-thinking advice to global leaders in the information technology and business market. They have been in operation for more than 24 years through which time have been providing, property research, events, consulting, and peer-to-peer executive programs.

PMA have a position for a German speaking Account Manager to develop new sales and business in a designated territory (Germnay), whilst maintaining and developing existing client relationships at the most senior level for various strategy and marketing professionals at major banks, telecoms, retailers, and media firms in Germnay.

The successful candidate will be responsible for introducing the business and information research portfolio of Research, Data, Consulting, and Community products to organisations, in addition to being responsible for the overall strategy of sales and targeted prospects and accounts. This will be achieved through cold calling and managing local targeted sales events as well as networking through contacts gained.

Candidates must be professional, concise and have an understanding of the business information sales market, through selling information services to senior personnel. You will have an ability to manage a successful territory and demonstrate sales success through different mediums. Most importantly, the successful candidate needs to have experience selling a consultative added value service, maintaining and leveraging industry contacts to maximise the sales opportunity.
